Find and rescue the dragon child |

The enemy has more rogues, so watch those back lines. They also have highly mobile horse archers, so be prepared with archers of your own and don’t underestimate how far the enemy squads can move.
Our new friend Abigayle has a unique touch with dragons, to put it lightly. If you recruited one last chapter, try to add it to her squad during the setup of the stage. Either way, pack her squad as full as you can before deploying her. When you take out enemy guarding the central fort, your forces will discover a dragon held by the Tidereavers. Abigayle will take an instant liking to it & your new dragon will be added to her squad, regardless of capacity limit.

The boss is a bit tougher than the last few, so hopefully you have some healing saved and at least one archer squad to weaken him before you have to charge with infantry squads.
Interlude
First priority is to bring your existing squads up to six characters where you can, but it’d also be nice to have one or two solid squads beyond the story ones. If you can’t put together a well rounded squad, a few archers can still help soften up the enemy and extra healers can heal up battered squads instead of attacking. Save some coin, however; as next stage there will be a bazaar.
